Background
Call for Papers Participation is open to university administrators and faculty, PK ? 12 educators, and graduate students. Questions and active discussion are encouraged as part of the presentations. The primary language for presentations will be English. Handouts in both English and Japanese will be appreciated.
Topics 2. Collaborative Research--Topics may include research and projects recently completed, in progress, or proposed between Japan and U.S. educators. 3. Professionalism of Teaching?Topics may include accountability, professional development, merit pay, teacher retention, teacher or student stress, mentoring, use of technology in teaching, and evaluation of educator preparation programs. 4. Diversity in the Classroom?Topics may include multicultural considerations, second language learning, teaching immigrant groups, and gender differences in learning. Conference Registration
