AACTE accepts advertisements of interest to our members in
several of our publications. There are four primary advertising outlets: Briefs, the web site, the
Journal of Teacher Education, and Annual Meeting publications.
AACTE BRIEFS
Audience
Briefs is a monthly newsletter of current events related to teacher education, including policy, research, and program issues. It is the official voice of AACTE for faculty and administrators in teacher education, college and university presidents, the education press, and others. Briefs is distributed by first-class mail to approximately 6,400 AACTE representatives, paid subscribers, and
others in the U.S. and abroad. It also is posted in PDF format on
AACTE's web site, www.aacte.org.

Advertising Requirements
Format: Electronic copy is preferred, sent as an e-mail attachment to kmccabe@aacte.org. Acceptable formats include InDesign, PageMaker, and MS Word as well as most graphic formats; please be sure to include all fonts (Windows platform) and graphics. AACTE will perform basic typesetting at no charge, additional fees may apply if editing is required. Camera-ready copy is also accepted. Contact Briefs for specific inquires.
Mechanical Requirements: Camera-ready advertisements must fit the standard ad sizes. Halftones should be 120- to 133-line screen for camera-ready copy. CMYK or grayscale only, no bleeds.
Regulations: The publisher reserves the right to determine the number and kinds of advertisements accepted for publication. Space reserved on time but canceled after the copy deadline will be billed to the advertiser. Please contact AACTE for space availability.
How to Place an Advertisement in Briefs
1. Make your reservation.
Briefs advertisements are sold on a first-come, first-served basis; some
issues fill up well in advance. If a reservation has not been made, placement is not guaranteed for a particular issue.
2. Submit your copy by the deadline.
Copy is due by the 6th day of the month preceding publication, submitted to the address below.
3. Include payment with your copy.
For nonmember advertisers, payment must accompany ad copy. AACTE members may prepay or provide an invoicing contact for subsequent billing. AACTE accepts Visa, Mastercard, checks, and official purchase orders from institutions, agencies, or organizations. Make checks payable to AACTE.

Journal of Teacher Education
Audience
The Journal of Teacher Education, one of the leading journals in teacher
education, has been in publication for 50 years. Published bimonthly, except
July-August (5 issues), by the American Association of Colleges for Teacher
Education, this peer-reviewed journal includes articles on policy, practice,
and research in teacher education that contribute to teacher education as a
field of inquiry.
