the field of teacher education for over 50 years, the Journal of Teacher Education is
one of the most widely read professional journals in the field. Articles on
policy, practice, and research contribute to teacher education
as a field of inquiry along numerous themes, including
accreditation, assessment and evaluation, extended programs, teacher education faculty,
student teaching, and others. Five peer-reviewed issues a
year contain thematic and general interest articles as
well as editorials and book reviews.
Requests for Manuscripts and Submission Deadlines and Author Instructions
are printed in each issue of the JTE.
