PEDS iconPEDS is used to collect extensive data annually on AACTE’s members: approximately 800 institutions of higher education that offer educator preparation programs. These data provide AACTE, members, policy makers, partners, and the public with valuable information about educator preparation programs. These data can then be used by institutions and the professional community to support reform, program review, and research.

NCTQ/USNWR Review of Education Schools

AACTE is committed to meeting members’ needs and serving as a national voice and resource on behalf of the educator preparation profession. At the request of our members, we have compiled a set of resources on the annual U.S. News & World Report/National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ) review of education schools. These resources serve to bring more transparency to the full story behind the review process, institutions’ history with NCTQ, and the collective concerns of the AACTE membership.
